I first saw her being unable to breathe through my nose along with multiple sinus infections. She planned out a course with surgery to treat both issues with septoplasty/rhinoplasty along with sinus debridement. After recovery, I have been able to feel better and breathe so much easier.

Had I known such a wonderful outcome was possible, I would have had this procedure done years ago, but no other physician I consulted in the past had Dr. Shehan’s positive attitude and winning ways. At the initial appointment, I knew I was in the best of hands, so I could move forward with utmost confidence. Today, three months after the procedure, I smile when I look in the mirror. Not only did she fix my breathing problems which had been causing frequent sinus infections and sleep disturbances, she did a wonderful job with the cosmetic portion of the operation as well. Before the surgery, she went out of her way to schedule a phone call with me at home to answer more questions I had thought of and to provide reassurance when she could tell I was nervous about the procedure. She set clear expectations the day of and I had a great recovery post op. I reached out over my chart with questions about my healing process a few times along the way and she did a great job answering them promptly and making me feel better about any concerns I had. I'm so grateful that my experience went so well and that I trusted her!
